Treat More than Just Wrinkles with Botox

Botox built its reputation on its ability to relax the wrinkle lines as we age. This has made it one of the most popular medical treatments in the world.

But that’s just the start.

Botox can do so much more.

In addition to the cosmetic results Madison Smile Solutions can achieve with Botox, we can also treat several painful conditions and disorders, such as TMJ disorders, teeth grinding and clenching, and even help alleviate migraine and headache pain.

What Is Botox, and How Does It Work?

“What is Botox anyway?” you might ask. (A lot of people do.)

Botox is an FDA-approved medicine that relaxes the muscles’ ability to contract, which is what contributes to many of the wrinkles we gain as we age. Botox therapy is safe and effective. It is temporary in nature and completely reversable over time with no lasting effects.

This may have started as a simple treatment for wrinkles, but it was quickly discovered that Botox could be used for both cosmetic and therapeutic treatments. Typically, Botox helps by blocking the action of muscles that are causing the dysfunction. Once relaxed, these muscles are no longer able to refer pain to other areas or trigger headaches and migraines.

At Madison Smile Solutions, we have extensive experience providing Botox treatments and have spent many years training on the structure and anatomy of the head and face. We know how to provide the treatment you need to get the results you want.

Botox Goes Beyond Cosmetics

At Madison Smile Solutions, we offer Botox therapy because it is a minimally invasive and a relatively comfortable way to approach the treatment of:

  1. TMJ disorders

  2. Clenching and grinding of teeth

  3. Migraines

  4. Headaches

As a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, Dr. Kaveh has experience treating many muscle-based disorders with Botox.

In the past, patients came to Madison Smile Solutions to help with cosmetic treatments such as dental veneers, or orthodontics. Now we can also treat your wrinkles and headache pain.

Treating the Individual

Everyone has unique facial features and goals. We take all of this into account when planning your Botox treatment.

We will create an individualized treatment plan for each patient based on the units of Botox needed to achieve your goals. This way you only pay for the units of Botox used.
